Marvin Hesse directs and shoots his own documentaries like “not how or when or why but yes” and “Everyone in Hawaii has a Sixpack Already” – wich premiered in Rotterdam 2018 (IFFR).

He photographed Pepe Danquarts Film “Daniel Richter” together with Daniel Gottschalk and was in charge as lighting-gaffer for numerous film-, commercial-, theatre- and musicvideo-productions.

Marvin is based in Hamburg and graduated from the University of Fine Arts Hamburg in 2020 (MFA). He is an interdisciplinary collaborator for the development of images and narratives of any kind – this gun is for hire.
